Android coming to the Samsung F480 (Tocco)!
It looks like RevLin Software are taking up the challenge of porting Android, Google's open source mobile operating system, along with their own OS to the Samsung F480!
This is great news for anyone like me who thinks the operating system on the F480 is far too limited. Lets hope they are successful and can improve on the this phone and bring a world of useful applications to it!

UPDATE:
I've received this email back from RevLin. Not a great deal of info but I should be able to keep you posted with updates for their mobile OS on the F480.

this does not mean there is a build that is all together, it just means all the components are there. again let me stress that this project ( and it is a project) does not take precdient over other tasks like revlin OS, we are seriously short on man power and any volenteers would be sorely welcome. please contribute art work for the main os along with idea for features and general feedback. also please understand that this is a big task and i have the tail of a collage education to worry about and i also know that the other members of the time dedicate only the time they can to this project. it is still alive but we cant this type of project without community help. thank you

There's no android coming for the f480, so stop sending Revlin money cause you will be victim of a hoax!
I don't think Android was ever coming either to be honest. I'm not sure who has ever suggested sending any money for the project but I definately would not have reccomeneded that! Definately not for what is open source software.
